Theater-style kitchen

The Ventura Foods Center's theater-style kitchen can be used for cooking demonstrations, prototype testing, new media projects, and development of marketing materials. The kitchen is equipped with temperature control cabinets for accelerated and long term storage stability studies. Our lab-kitchen has a pH meter, balance, themrocouples and recorders, a spectrophotometer, and PC interface capabilities. We can conduct traditional sensory testing in booths to evaluate flavors and preference, or we can train and conduct descriptive panels with expert judges.
